Schedule Assignment in Classroom

Teachers asked and Google listened.

You now have the ability to schedule assignments, announcements, and questions at a later date in Google Classroom. This is useful for planning (ahead) purposes.

When you click on assign, post, or ask you will now see an option for Schedule which will bring up a window similar to the one below depending on the option you choose:

Click the dropdown next to the date and you can schedule when you want the assignment to post in Classroom (just make sure to schedule the assignment before the due date of the assignment).

You can even use this option when you reuse an assignment.
