About Me

I have a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Bridgewater State University. Prior to receiving my degree I taught computer classes to adults both at the corporate and community school levels for over sixteen years.
During the past twelve years I have been a member of the Technology Department at Sandwich High School/STEM Academy. I served as a Sandwich High School Technology Teacher for ten years and I am now in my second year as an Instructional Technology Integration Specialist.
Everything I know about computers I pretty much learned on my own through trial and error.  I love working with technology and the challenges it brings as technology is advancing so rapidly.
In addition to teaching technology courses at Sandwich High School, I plan and lead professional development workshops and design curriculum to support technology rich classrooms I have had the opportunity to present at the MassCue Fall Conference several times. I am a Level 1 Google Certified Educator one of my goals is to become Google Trainer Certified. I am also a co-organizer/founder of EdCamp Cape Cod.
I am passionate about empowering teachers to engage students by creating dynamic learning environments with the integration of technology.
