Ever wonder what the above prompt means? You’ve probably noticed this when you open a new Google Doc and once you start typing it disappears.
Basically you can type the @ symbol anywhere in a Google Doc to quickly insert images, special characters, numbered lists, tables, and more. Simply place the cursor where you want to insert or start using a tool, type the @ symbol and scroll through the pop up menu that appears (with mouse or arrow keys), then click on the item.
