Here are few ways you can use the “Create a Question” feature in Classroom
DISCUSSION STARTER
Post a question in Classroom as a discussion starter to engage students in meaningful talk. Let them reply to each other by turning on the “Students can reply to each other feature”
Use Questions to get the class “warmed up” or as a “show what you know” about a new topic. You may want to try the Multiple choice option for this.
Note: Turn off the “Students can reply to each other feature”

**The Question feature offers a couple of different answer options - short answer or multiple choice**
Here’s how to set it up
- Choose the + and then choose Create Question
- Enter the question and any instructions.
- Make sure the Students can reply to each other feature is turned on for discussions.
- Assign Due Date and Topic if applicable
- Change answer options (short answer or multiple choice)
- Click Ask
