YouTube Video Editor was used this year because students are using Chromebooks and we needed an online tool that was simple for video creation. (We had been using iMovie as the students were previously issued iPads.)
Since we are a Google school students could easily set-up their YouTube account using their school issued Gmail account.
Students learned how to use YouTube editor using the following resources. Each student completed 2 practice videos which introduced them to most of the Editor elements.
Then students completed a YouTube Editor Project.
